Default Question about 75 f100 4x4

I am new here and I am looking for some information. I have a 75 f100 4x4, I am wondering if I can swap out or up grade the steering and front axle. I was just wondering if there was anyone that has done this or has know of someone that has. The problems that I have had is that the current steering gear box on the truck has been rebuilt and has failed again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I don't have any experience with those boxes, but would a new one with a stabilizer (or even a dual) do the trick. That may take a lot of the stress off the box. One thing I have learned in all my years of wrenching is most of the time conversions to non OEM stuff ends up being more hassle then it is worth. There are exceptions but this is usually the case. Good luck!
