1970 f350 dually wheels... what to do?
Hey guys, ive got a question I cant find an answer to.
Ive got a 1970 f350 dually, 4 speed 2wd with pto. The tires are completely dry-rotted, and I dont know what to do.
The fronts are definatly split-rim, but im not sure about the rears. All six tires are 7.5x16 LT, so I assume they are all tube tires. I dont know alot about truck tires, but I do know dirtbikes. And with bikes I know that you can mount tubeless tires over a tube, but not vice-versa.
I have read that I can mount rims up to 94, but the big difference is lug-centric versus hub-centric. I dont know how to tell what Ive got, or how to look for the right tubeless wheel to replace what Ive got.
Is it possible to put on rims from another year that are tubeless and will accept modern truck tires, or am I screwed?

the tires could be tubed tires, but shouldnt be and were not from the factory. you are lucky because they are 16's and not 16.5's. you can put a tubless tire on the wheels. . even if they are split rim and they will work just fine. as far as putting wheels on it from a different truck. only dodge and ford wheels will fit your truck. chevy has a smaller centric. wheel centric though if it is bigger does not matter cause you have eight lug nuts to keep er centered. .

1970 f350 lowering with rims and tires
Looking for some advice..
I have a 1970 F350 i would like to lower and install some stylish rims and tires..Has anyone done this? Any advice or guidance would be a great help! I was thinking airbags and 20 - 22 inch rims.
Thoughts?
