Default 1983 Ford F250 4x4 wheel bearing issue

hey guys, i cant seem to figure out how to get at the front wheel bearings on this pickup and its driving me crazy! when i get the 4x4 twist lock off, there is an aluminium collar in there, and a snap ring around the axle. ive had the snap ring off, and it doesnt seem to do anything. i believe the front diff is a dana 44, if someone can help me prove this too, it would be some weight off the shoulders. cheers.

There are 2 snap rigs. One on the axle shaft and the other is located around the inner hub. You might need to clean to see it but it will rotate. Just use 2 tinny screwdrivers or dental picks.
