Hi, I'm new to the forum because I'm new to F350s. I've got a retired uhaul truck- 89 F350 diesel dually. i scrapped the 14' van box and i'm going to build a custom flatbed.

What's involved in going to SRW instead of dually? It looks like i can just bolt 'regular' 8-lug wheels on the dually rear axle. I don't care if the rear track width changes an inch or two- i'll just build the bed to match whatever the new width is.

The front looks like the complicated part. is that a big spacer between the rotor and the front wheel, that i can just remove & bolt up SRW wheels? or will i be changing some other components?
