Can someone tell me what the better cold air intake systems are for around 250.00-320.00
I priced a K&N tonight and it was 256.00 but it doesn't have the polished tube.
The AEM system is a dry system and it is 220.00
Any other recommendations.
Should I go with a oiled or dry filter.

Unless you are putting down 500HP the stock intake is more tha capable of doing the job. Save the bucks for some real performance tools.

If your going to change your intake
put an AFE on. It's not worth trying
to save 50-70$ and getting a K&N
Theyr not worth getting the AFE
gives you 50hp and 120fb/t more
The K&N maybe 20 horse more at
the most. I'm talking out of
expirience. One of my friends has
a K&N on his 7.3 and it's nice but
nothing like the AFE on my 7.3
make shure you
get the 2stage intake. Your problem
Now is if you get that intake or any
other intake you should change your
exaust to because now your engine
is getting all the air it needs but can't
get rid of it with the small exaust.
If you do that and then put an edge
juice with additide your truck is going
to move like nothing else. Sorry if my
