Default Help with ticking noise

A ticking or static noise is made when engine is on or switch is on. When you barely touch brake pedal it stops. Any ideas noise is driving me nuts.

More info
Does the noise speed up with RPMs
does the noise speed up with MPH
does the noise change with a cold engine as apposed to a hot engine?
is the noise in the cabin, under the vehicle, in the engine compartment?

The noise is constant it does it without truck running just switch on. Noise is in cab around brake pedal.
