put a gas engine in a diesel truck ?

For one... Your wiring harness, to the fuse panel, including the panel will have to be changed out.
Motor mounts.
Cooling system
Front rad support
Transmission crossmember
Possibly the instrument cluster
It's unusual a diesel truck gets swapped to a gasser. Most cases a guy would swap his gasser to a diesel.
You would probably have better luck finding a guy that would trade with ya.

You're going to really struggle! You'll need to change...
engine (with ancillaries)
wiring loom
fuel tank
fuel pipes
fuel pumps
fuel filters
battery
ECU
complete exhaust system
probably the fuse box too, and maybe more! Diesel engines are so completely different to a petrol engine that you're practically rebuilding the car!

You want to do that to a 95? Hope it's in really really good shape, because the truck isn't worth it. If you really wanted a gas truck, I would sell it and buy a gas truck, or mabe find someone who wants to trade, but that's too much trouble and money to put into a 95 unless the truck is like brand new.

I see you stole that from Trucktrends (magazines are sticklers regarding Copy Write Laws)
If you read that hole article you would easily tell the author is very bias. Through the article he says nothing good about diesels.
He (author) is gonna get hit with a wake up call soon. Some day he will learn north America is quickly learning what the Europeans have learn years ago. That diesels are better for the environment then gas engines. And that diesel engine can be just as efficient. ie Germany's VW jetta
Diesel engines have always been known to make more HP and torque then gas engines.
This is why they are used in the trucking industry
Instead of copying and pasting somebody else thoughts
Do you have an opinion of YOUR OWN Marksoldtowne ?
