Removal of instrument cluster
Hi guys,
I have a 2002 F350 Super Duty 4x4 Crew Cab and just ordered a Nu Image gauge face. How hard is it to get the instrument cluster out to replace the face?It would be highly appreciated if somebody could give me some hints.
Thanks in advance,
GTA

Removal of instrument cluster F-350
1. The face of the dash pops off - start by disconnecting your battery, putting the parking brake on, shifting into 1st gear, and lowering the steering wheel all the way.
2. At the lower right part of the dash face, or wherever you want to start, use a tool to pop the dash face out and then work your way around. Be careful not to pull out too far-the switches are still hooked up.
3. Disconnect the headlight, 4wd, radio, and cigarette switches.
4. Take out the four screws holding the cluster in place.
5. Disconnect the cable for the shifter.
6. The cluster will come out a little further, allowing you to disconnect the cables in the back.
The rest is self-explanatory.
