WON'T START SOMETIMES
HAVE AN 01 f-350 7.3 diesel that starts fine down to 25 degrees. When it is real cold anI turn the key to heat the light comes on and stays on but will not go out and won't start. The tack also jumps slightly and a clicking noise is heard under the hood. This has happened 3 times in the last year. Last time it did not start at night and the next morning either . I pluged it in for 3 hrs. and it started. LIght did not go out then either. I drove it 2 miles down the road turned it off and tried it again . The light came on and went off as usual and it started and has started fine for the last 5 days HELP IT IS DRIVING ME CRASY WON'T BREAK AND STAY BROKE..../////////////////////////////////////??????????????

Hey this is Eben
Check your glow plugs
My 7.3 wouldn't start in cold weather eather without pluging it in
till I changed the plugs.
Make shure your camshaft sensor is allrite to that can cause intermittend
problems. Hope it's the sensor because it's just around 35$ the plugs are
about 120$ a piece if I remember rite.
Anyways I hope these few little problems don't cause you to sell or not like
your 7.3l. The 7.3 usually is a very good engine.
