Default newbie says hi and has a ?

hi fellas im brand new here and have a question about my 99 b3000 fuel filter, i went to change it and the hose from the front of the truck came off ok but the 2nd hose from the pump wouldnt budge. i looked at the new one and i didnt see any type of connector such as the usual ford quick connect spring type . but i pulled hard on it but it didnt come loose. do i just need to pull harder, i had removed both the plastic clips . any advice, thanks

well i found the answer elsewhere online, you need a special tool that looks like a pair of scissors to relese the connectors, dont know why one side came out but the other would not.
