Default 1997 Chevy 2500 Brake switch knowledge needed!

Recently I had replaced the front braking system on my 1997 Chevy Cheyenne 2500. Then a few days later I noticed my brake lights weren't working. So I narrowed it down to the brake switch. Now does anyone know how you adjust these or where I can go to get the diagrams. It works now as I just stuck my hand up there and kindof moved things around. But sometimes it goes out and im wondering if when I had the brake system bleed it damaged the switch or through it out of adjustment. Thanks

You may have a broken wire or a bad switch. If the switch was out of adjustment your brake lights would be on all the time.

No real adjustment on the 97...does the 3rd lite work,or is it all crap-canned?
