2001 GMC sierra, fuel injection bleeding?

2001 GMC sierra, fuel injection bleeding?
I ran out of gas in my truck and it won't run any more. I can start it but its rough and then it dies? does anyone know if you have to bleed the injection system on this truck? and if so how do you do it?
