Default 76 GMC fuel tank selector valve

Hi everyone!!

I have a 1976 GMC K2500 Camper Special. I am looking for, whatI believe to be, a Fuel tank selector valve. I can get one from the dealer for $160.00 :\ too much . The auto part stores sell a upgrade version that requires an entire electrical re-wire job :\ I would like to avoid this if I can but it may be my only hope. The local salvage yards here do nothave anything pre 1983. I have been to 2 other forums with no response in the past week. I have been all over theweb looking for this part, I know its out there, but not in thr right places.I have included a picture of the part i am looking for in this post. If any one can help i sure would appreciate it very much.

Thanks in advance.

You should buy it. Its reasonable since your truck is 1976 GMC. That part is hard to find.
