Default 92 Chevy K1500 Ticking Noise

Hello all! I am having a problem with my truck. While it is in Park, Neautral, D, OD, it makes a ticking noise (while at idle, I cant hear it while its driving). It does not make the ticking noise in reverse! What can it be? Could it be an exhaust leak, something loose? I am confused. Like I said it does it in every gear position except reverse. That is while I am at a stop. (Like at a drive thru window) Any suggestions and help is appreciated! Thank You!

Sounds like a weak lifter tapping.

Could be an exhaust leak.
Use a LONG screwdriver, put the blade on the valve cover, over each cylinder. Then hold the handle to your ear while the truck is idling. You will quickly find a LOUD tapping LIFTER.

Or crawl under your truck (don't burn yourself) with your bare hand feel for an exhaust leak. I would start in the engine compartment with the exhaust manifolds and work my way back.
