98 Chevy 5.0 Manual trans
Hi all,
Can anyone give me some tips on how I can release the clutch slave cylinder line at the bell housing? It seems that you have to have a tool that reaches inside the bellhousing and then pulls or does something to disconnect the line. I can't see what the inside of the connection looks like so I can't figure out how to release it. I have been to 3 auto parts stores now and they all try to sell me a clutch release tool, one that looks like a U at the end of it, but either this does not work for the type of connection that I have or I am not understanding how to use it. So here is a rough drawing of a top or bottom view of the components. Any help will be appreciated and I'll take some pics of the problem if that will help.
