Default Air Bag Sensor

I have a 2005 Silverado with the passenger seat that has all the air bag sensors in it to tell if someone is sitting in it or not. I have changed the seats out for some that were a little nicer, mine is a work special with out the center console, and I wanted the console so the new ones came out of a 2005 GMC Sierra 3500. The problem was that the new seats didn't have any of the sensors in them. I was able to transplant all of the sensors and wiring except the one that is connected to the seatbelt. It looks like it is just a grounding sensor to tell if the belt is latched or something? without this sensor it shows that the airbag needs serviced everytime the truck is turned on and you have to hit the trip meter button in the instrument panel to see the odometer. Is there anyway to over ride this? Would it be possible to buy the switch that mounts in the dash that you use a key to turn it on and off? If the dash switch is the answer will it just plug into an existing plug that is already in the harness behind the dash? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Doug Addy
