Needs help please?

Default Needs help please?

ive bought a 1996 chevysilverado, it has a 350 vortec 5.7l ,and my transmission output shaft seal is leaking. but im thinking my transmission is blew up cause as i was driving i felt the difference it wouldnt like to switch gears and running very high is that just from the seal with a leak not getting compression now its just leaked all out should i buy a new seal and fluid and see or noo is it blew up. thank you please write back with my consern

I'd start with the seal at least. it's very cheap and easy to do... Otherwise I'm not sure about the tranny unless you're low on fluid

yea thats what im thinking it was a little low on oil could that make it like run high i would get going and it would go threw 1st 2nd and wouldnt go out of third it was like it was in nuetral so im thinking seal and fluid then it will be fixed
