Default P0300 Code showing on Scanner

Hey guys, I'm looking for some help. My truck's check engine light came on a few days ago and I checked with my scanner that it is a "random misfire." I am not a very mechanical person so other then changing spark plugs and some easy stuff I just don't bother anymore. I took it into the shop and they said that the number 5 cylinder wire was hitting the manifold and maybe caused the misfire so they moved off the manifold and taped it up with electrical tape. The plugs and wires are only 5 months old. The check engine light came back on today with the same code so do I have to change the wires or was pulling them away from the mainifold ok and the problem is somewhere else?

The truck seams to run just fine. I have not noticed any difference in anything.

Thanks
