Remote start, Chevy ignition wire spec undefined
Planning to install a Prostart remote starter on a 2003 Chevy Suburban.
According to Prostart the unit is capable of plugging into two separate
ignition circuits. Per their wiring info, the 2nd ignition wire from the Prostart
should connect to a white wire on the Suburban's ignition harness.
I have the shop manual for the 2003 burb, and it only lists the wires within the ignition harness as follows:
Ignition 1 wire as Pink,
Ignition 3 wire as Brown and,
Ignition 0 wire (export) as Pink.
The manual omits mention of Ignition 2. Where is Ignition 2?
