sputtering/timing?

Default sputtering/timing?

i have a 88 1500 4x4 350 i had a friend put plugs and wires in it was running alil doggy before that. but after it was sputtering when u try to accelerate so i checked with a friends truck and the wires are done right. i changed the fuel filter no improvement. so i did cap and rotar and runs worse now. do u think maybe timing being its running worse after the new parts? any help would be great thanks

Does sound like timing might be an issue so I guess you better check it. If that doesn't stop the sputtering, let us know. Oh, just for giggles, make sure all the wires (electrical and spark plug) are plugged into the distributor good. Give 'em a good wiggle and push. You never know.
