Default duplicolor bed coating?

i want an inexpensive do it yourself bed liner (not drop in). I don't haul things a lot, mostly just firewood, but on occasion there might be some bricks or something like that in there. focusing mainly on the roll in. what yall think? would a gallon be enough to do the 8 foot bed on my f150?

Don't use duplicolor, it peels off very easily. Never tried the herculiner.
And someone told that durabak is great.
