$500 92 Chevy Scottsdale
Hey everyone, new to forums and to building trucks, but totally ready.
I am a US Marine, currently stationed in Texas, thank goodness. Right before my last deployment to Afghanstan my little brother wrecked his truck and needed a A to B. So, my step dad got me in touch with a guy who buys and sells, you know a friend of a friend, and we got one for $800, my little but in $300, and I dropped $500. I left and came back, my little brother has a newer truck and this beauty is all mine. It definitely needs work but it has so much potential. Here are the issues...
It has been coverted from standard to automatic, and it got overheated and I think I may have blown the head gasket or maybe even cracked the block. I got a grand in it, my step dad had a buddy of ours redo the front end, replace shocks, and stuff like that. next step is getting the engine back up, and then paint, the stereo doesn't work that's a priority too. Photos to come soon... Any help and ideas will be welcomed.
