Default 2006 Silverado Z71 Question about OEM shocks?

I have a Z71 4X4 and it has almost 60K miles. Is it time to replace the OEM shocks??

Thanks in advance I have searched and looked all over the forums, for info..... So any help would be greatly apprecated....TJ

that depends on if u feel they need it...my truck is an 03 with 172k miles on it and i just now put some rough country shocks on my truck...and the only reason i did that was because i finally decided to turn my stock torsion keys down and get aftermarket keys....but i wouldnt say that u should need to change them out...

Well, that greatly depends on your preference. I changed my shocks because they already needed replacement. I noticed that I can push them down with ease and they just sit there.. They're FUBAR.. So I decided to replace the shocks already.

I would replace them, my 06 is on it's third set of shocks right now. The thing about shocks is that they gradually go bad. Once you put a new set on you'll realize just how worn they really were.
