Exclamation Lifting a 2WD

I need to lift my 2WD 1995 GMC Sierra. It's a 1500, V8, 5.0 L. This truck was given to me by my grandfather before he passed so it holds sentimental value. I would really love a 4WD but I'm attached to it. I am lifting it purely for performance. I take it hunting on roads a 2WD should be able to go on and it doesn't have nearly the ground clearance I need. I can make it, but it's rough on the frame/body. I'm not interested in having the "biggest truck on the road". I'm not a jackass. It does have a bit of sag on the front end. I would like to level that out as well. I assume I need a lift and level kit? What would be my best bet as far as a suspension or body lift? What problems are associated with lifting a 2WD? Also what brand of parts would be best? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank y'all in advance.

A friend of mine used one of these kits on his and it worked out great. A body lift isn't going to raise your frame so you will still have the bottoming out issue. Good luck!

You can try an add a leaf kit or a leveling kit
