Default Need advice with buying a Excusion? HELP

I'm needing a daily driver, with capacity for many kids but also to be used to pull different size trailers and tractors that I will be selling. I don't want to own different vehicles for different tasks. So here is my question I looked on ebay motors and found many Excursions with the 6.0 diesel . Is there so many on there due to a reason? Would this be the vehicle to fit my need. If not what do you suggest. I do perfer a diesel. Thanks to any one to help me!!!!!!

Very, very, very heavy vehicle and the gas mileage is horrific! Look into a Surburban with the 6.0L, or if you want diesel, check out the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD crew cab. There is more then enough room for your family and you have ample amount of power to tow. I personally would stay clear of the Excursion, but I wish you the best of luck in whatever decsion you make.
