NEW Truck NEED Help
Hey guys I know you all probably get this alot but I need some help deciding.
I have been all over searching what type of truck to get and what. This is going to be the first time I've gotten a pick up truck and I will use it mainly for road and off road. Not hauling anything besides probably mulch and the usual stuff. But I want a truck that I'm gonna put performance parts, a decent lift, and some all terrain tires. Mainly mudding. So if any opinions please help me out, looking at a Ford Ranger or Dodge Dakota but your opinions always help

It's a personal preference thing.
So your going to get a lot of personal opinions.
Here is mine.
I personally wouldn't go for a mini truck. Eventually your going to find it's limitations and it will frustrate you.
If your going off road... eventually your going to wish your truck wasn't IFS and that it needs a solid front axle.
What are your friends and family driving in trucks?

Thanks for the response!
I did think of that over the comparisons. I like some of the sizes of the compact trucks but I didnt know if they were good mud trucks if I were to get a V8 in one or something. Too be honest I'm still learning with the time I have off from school. I don't want a monster truck but one that I can defiantly get going through some good mud trails.
