Default How did your truck get its name???

Well I was thinking back to MajorSilva and I figured that we should get a discussion going to promote forum bonding

So how did your truck get its name??? i wanna know. I call my 92 Hank Waylon because I love me some Hank Williams Jr. and the old Waylon Jennings, and I think Hank Waylon is a pretty bad@$$ name.

So tell me

I call my 96 Big Red. Yeah its original.

The Blazer got the name Jenn. I dated a girl named Jenn once and needless to say she and the Blazer had one thing in common. They loved to burn rubber. Just not mine...

The Z28 is called blue. That one is really original too.

On a quite different note, I named my uncle's Duramax "The B.A.T." Its an acronym for Big-***-Truck

You can't be serious dude. We call my mom the old bat for her Duramax being the Batmobile as in Big *** Truck.

I call my 03 Silverado SS "Super Sexy" for several reasons. First is the obvious SS = Super Sexy. The second reason is that I was dating a girl a few years ago and everytime I either got pulled over or entered the front gate at Fort Hood, people always said something about the truck before they ever said anything about my girlfriend, if they said anything at all about my girlfriend. She started to get her feelings hurt a little bit so I told her that she is sexy but the truck is super sexy.

You guys all need more imagination... : ) I developed not only a name, but a backstory spanning 15 years.

I guess I should point out that I really have too much time on my hands, and all my favorite hobbies are somewhat more expensive than I can handle right now. I turn all that horribly unfocused attention towards dead ends such as that.

My 01 Sierria goes by "the eight one" (yes it does have to be spelled out) with the 8.1L vortec its not hard to see where it got the name. She also did a short stint under the allias "luverne" due to the Luverne grill gaurd, i was not too sad to see that one drop off.
