Default Interior Paint?

Hey guys, got a couple questions about Interior Paint.

My Fiance has a 2003 Ford Escape, and I was talking to her today, and she wants me to try to add a little pink to it (It's pale Gold on the outside, and the interior is a tannish bisque)

So, For the out side, I don't see too much of a issue. Maybe a pink line around the outside of the rims, and pink shadowing around the design holes in the rims - She doesn't really want to over do it on the actual car, just the rims.

Now for the inside....She wants like the dash piece around the radio, and the center console piece painted pink, and like the oh **** handles like a bright orange.

So..What would I use to paint those? Like a heavy duty vinyl paint, or is there a special paint for that?

She wants the steering wheel painted too, but I am worried about the paint wearing off real quick. Any thoughts on this?

I know all this stuff is possible, but I'm just looking for some opinions before i get started.

And just so it's clear..her car getting this stuff is a bribe so I can get a lift and pipes for my truck

Well just my 2 cents. You my want to try all that pink stuff on your truck first so if there is any screw ups she will not be mad at you. And I think the steering wheel is a no no.So let us know how your truck turns out.

naaaahhh. I'm kinda thinking dark green and lots of chrome for my truck, with a 6" lift, and flowmasters.

DupliColor has a good interior paint. But make sure when you find your color that it is a interior paint.

The interior paint has a special flex agent in the paint for expansion and contraction for temperature changes
The rattle can may have application instructions. If I remember correctly, the vinyl will need a light sand then a thorough solvent wash.
I second the idea of NOT painting the steering wheel. Give your girl a surprise, get a girly custom after market steering wheel

That's a good idea. I'll look into that.
