To keep it or not to keep it....

Major Silva's here to help you make a decision.
Get rid of the Supra. Whatever loving attachment you have with it more than likely doesn't begin to compare to the attachment you have with your truck.
Whatever money you get off the sale of that, go ahead and dump it into the next cool little goody parts for the truck.
My opinion though....
Edit: DUDE!!! WTF are you doing making 8.50 an hour? Talk about wasting time. Jeez brother, if you were up here (Seattle) 8.50/hr wouldn't allow you to live in a cardboard box under a bridge.
Start looking for other employment. ****, drive a tow truck. I pay my starting drivers $13/hr. After 6 months, they go up to $15/hr or we do a commission split.
Something to think about.

Actually, you hit the nail on the head. In fact just today my boss put something into the works that really got some gears turning in my puny little brain. So I will be looking for alternate employment asap. It's really hard to find a good job around here. This place is actually notorious for being a bad place to find a job.
As far as the money thing goes, a person can live off of $8.50hr here. Kinda rough but it can be done. The cost of living is way lower here than it is up there for whatever reason(which is kinda funny cause everyone here agrees the cost of living is outrageous, LOL). Also no offense cause I'm sure you are a respectable person and make good money, but tow truck drivers around here seem to be at the lower end of the rung. I've heard some of them make good money but I think those are the guys who own they're own business and I'm in NO hurry to start another business.
As for what I'm gonna do about the Supra, I'm definately gonna sell it. What I do after that is up in the air until I find a different job though.

RUNNING? LOL! ...yeah um..... it isn't running yet. I only get like one day a week to work on it and when I do work on it I spend so much time scratching my head and making sure I'm doing things right that not very much get's done. Tomorrow(wednesday) is my day off so I'm hoping to get atleast the intake manifold close to done. After the intake is done(which is the bulk of the work), I'll have to button up a few tid bits on the front of the motor, bolt the exhaust back in place, put the alternator back on, put the radiator and fan back in, put the distributor back in, install new plugs and wires, and then all I have to do is put all of the hoses back where they go(that alone should take about 2 days) and put belts back on it. If only I had a week off work...
