Default 4x4 problem please help 2000 silverado

I got a 2000 chevy silverado auto four wheel drive push button and we replaced front actuator, transfer case encoder motor, and switch in the cab. We are stumped and cannot get the 4x4 to work at all please help

happened to my dads truck once it was just the fuse but this sound a bit different than that.

I'd check fuses as suggested (two total), check the wire harnesses to the encoder motor, have the transfer case control module (TCCM) checked out, and scan for codes.

The TCCM could be the culprit if you don't find a blown fuse or the wiring is okay. A U1026 code would indicate it's not communicating on the serial data bus but may just be offline for some reason which should be diagnosed rather than replaced. A C0550 code would indicate an internal failure of the module and should be replaced with this code. You'll need to have a high-end type scanner (Tech II) or take it to the dealer to have this done.
