Default need electrical help

i have a 1995 sierra 2500 series. my horn and my washer fluid arent working. i cleaned all my ground posts. put in new fuses. wen i hit the horn you can hear the relay switch clicking. and when i first went to use the washer fluid it squirted once then stopped. i took out the horn and the pump hooked them up to a battery and they both work. i cleaned all my ground posts with no go. any clues???

My guess is there could be a break in the wiring harness between the relay and horn/washer motor. Either that, or the relay is bad. Try swapping the relay with a known good one.

well i used i believe its called an ohm meter. im getting power to one of the posts in the horn wire. and the relay is clicking. would that be a bad sign to hear it clicking?? its confusing though bc the horn itself works that i know and theres also power getting to the wire on one side without hitting the horn. so im confused beyond belief. ill gett a new relay see if the could be the issue. but the clicking does that sound like a good or bad thing to you?

Clicking is completely normal, and perhaps a good sign. That to me indicates that the relay's control side at least works. So it narrows your problem to the load side of the relay.

If the relay its self isn't working, then swapping the relay will fix it. If not, We'll have to look into overlaying the wires going to the horn. (laying a new wire from the relay to the horn to replace what's in the original wiring harness)
