22R Motors idle issues *Fixed*
Here is a tech answer for you.
If you own a 22R motor for your Toyota and it idles really bad when cold. It's a simple fix. Buy a carb kit, then on the side of the carb, there is a three bolt diaphragm. Open that up, and remove the plunger that is in there, replace it with your new one in your carb kit. You will then have a perfect running and idling motor. I will get pictures later if you need them. The reason you have to buy a carb kit, is because they no longer sell the plunger anymore as a stand alone piece. My carb kit cost me about $30.00
I hope this helps you out.
