1971 Chevy
As a member of a Mercedes forum, i know the attention to detail and the appreciation forum members have for their cars. I wanted to post this here so you folks would have a shot at it. Reserve is below 2K and it's a great truck.

1971 Chevy Suburban Carryall. 240,000 miles, and still trucking. This car has been in my family since new. My grandmother purchased the car new in CT (for $4636.00, on March 17, 1971 at Dworkin Chevrolet) and the car was there until February. She has since stopped driving and the car was only driven once a year to get a christmas tree. The car he since been parked in my garage. The car runs, but not well. There is steering play. The car is going to need major work. There is rust all over. My grandfather repaired part of the drivers side of the car (rust), but the left needs attention. The car also has rust under it. The car is not inspected and therefore cannot be driven and must be towed. Needs cab mounts, but other than that I haven't had the time to inspect it. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
The car will need body and engine work in order to drive. This is a restoration project/and or parts. I implore you to see the car in person, I cannot possibly begin to represent all aspects of the car. The car will come with another set of tires that are not on the car, there are some parts in the back, I'm not sure what they are. The manuals my grandfather used to work on the car (he overhauled the engine and did all the work himself). He kept impeccable records. If he added two ounces of oil in the transfer case, there is a note of it. All of these records will accompany the car. The original owners manual is also included.
Mechanics are welcome to look at the car, you just wouldn't be able to take it anywhere, because it would need to be towed. Have original CT title which can be signed over to the winner. Also have the bill of sale from my acquisition.
Disclaimer: There are no warranties with this car, either expressed or implied. All bidders by bidding are entering a legally binding contract. Do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Listings cost money, money which I would prefer not to waste. There is a reserve price, but from my research it is very reasonable.
If you have any questions or want more pictures, email me: tomhwing@aol.com
Or you can call Mark 610-246-1068 (my friend who actually holds the title to the car).
If you want to see the car either email me or call mark, it is currently garaged.

Also, the engine is the original 350. It has an automatic trans (which works). Also, please, if you have less then 10 positive feedback, please email before bidding, or your bid may be cancelled. I reserve the right to end the auction early since the car is for sale locally. Also, after you buy is not the time to inspect the car, please do all inspections prior to bidding. Also, ask all questions before bidding, if you aren't sure or need clarification on something, ask. Please keep in mind. This car is old, I have tried to represent it as best as i can, but i cannot possibly cover everything. Thanks, and good luck. Also, if the reserve is not met, I may still sell the car to you, so don't get discouraged. More pictures available upon request. Good Luck!

2 things.
1. Title was changed today into name of seller. PA title is in the mail and should arrive by end of auction or soon thereafter. This title will go to the winner.
2. Reserve is well below 2K, so don't get discouraged.
