1996 Silverado ext-cab 2WD 5.7L
1996 Chevy Silverado
Only 105k miles!
· 1996 Chevy Silverado ½-ton 2wd in med-blue
· extended cab, with pop-out ¼ windows, and rear sliding glass
· standard 6’ box, with bed liner, 7 extra tie-off points, and a cargo light
· 5.7L V8 Vortex engine (runs great!)
· Brand new Jasper automatic transmission with 100,000 mile full warranty!
· New water pump just installed, 90 day warranty
· Interior in great shape, medium-blue, clean, non-smoker and no kids or pets
· Exterior only recently showing rust, in the usual places
· Factory class-III trailer towing package (never used for towing)
· Power windows, yes they all work!
· Power door locks with keyless entry remote (2 remotes, 3 keys)
· Power 6-way seat with recline, yup it works too!
· Power mirrors, both work !
· Factory AM/FM/cassette/CD (still sounds great, no buzzy speakers)
· Captain-chair style cloth seats, adjustable headrests
· Center console/arm-rest, with storage, and flip-out notepad holder
· Fold-down rear seat, with some storage behind it.
· Rear cup holders, storage bins, and rear storage drawer (handy for ccw piece)
· newer battery, newer alternator
· A/C works great, brakes were just inspected and they’re good
· A great low-mileage truck for only $5000- !
I am the second owner, bought the truck when she was only 1 year old, so have owned her since summer of 1997. I only put on about 8k a year as I usually ride the motorcycle to work. The Silverado was regularly maintained, and I have all the receipts. I assured that the truck never sat for any long periods, either. It was used once a week at minimum to keep the oil spun around, the lube distributed, and the battery topped off. Best as I know, 99% of everything on the Silverado works!
If you’re a ham radio op, I will throw in the “cool-blue” TM-V7 with the truck! It’s fully remote-head mounted, remote Motorola comm.-grade speaker, Diamond 40” dualbander, the whole enchalada.
PM me for more info.
